Ethyl Robbins Faye Paypal Fraudster Strikes Again Macon Georgia
Ethyl Robbins is back, although she has used the name Faye in the past. Ethyl texted to purchase a camera lense listed on craigslist for $500. She offered $550 to include overnight shipp, and offered to pay through PayPal. Then she doctored emails to look as though they came from PayPal that were very convincing. The email instructed to provide an overnight shipping confirmation before funds would be released. Then she sent another fake PayPal email asking to refund an extra $500 transferred by mistake. Of course we contacted PayPal and they confirmed the scam, but it was too late to stop the delivery. And even though we bought insurance, it doesn't cover fraud.
