Expedia Scumbags liars theives cowards Refused to Credit my $7000 on Flights THEY Cancelled- Refused to Credit CC on Hotel /Car rental ....that had no car ordered Bellvue Washington
I went on Expedia and bought 2 Business Class tickets from Bangkok to Manilla to Vancouver return. Booked on Philipene Airlines.They took the money from my card. They confirmed the tickets. The next day they sent me an e mail telling me all the flights had been cancelled. They did not return the money to my CC. I went and booked tickets myself with another airline,Catahy Pacific, When I was in Canada my card was declined when I tried to rent a car. I had to phone Bangkok and get them to approve the chagres ( a $75 cost). I had to do this on 4 ocassions . I quit using the card as it was getting to expensive,embarassing and time consuming. One day before we were to return Bangkok (one hour before the flight) they sent me an e mail telling me they booked us on the Vancouver to Manilla leg of the ticket they cancelled. There was no forward conection from Manilla to Bangkok. When I got to Bangkok I treid several e mails to them and called long distance 3 times , twice my phone ran out of money from being on hold( about $100 each time) and the third time ,after 40 minutes on hold, I was told it was not thier problem and I had to work it out with Philipene Airlines. I called them and wasted anotherv $60 on hold. They told me I had to work it out with Expedia. I never paid Philpiene . I paid Expedia, and they paid Philipene. NEXT, when I got my CC bill I noticed Expedia had charged me an extra $115 for 4 nights at the hotel I booked through them. (They told me $159/night and billed me $274/night. You guessed it....they won't refund my money. So now I'm stuck with trying to figure out how to get my money back. I also had a credit downgrade as my card was declined on 2 payments I make every month on my card . I didn't know my card was still maxed. So.....I implore anyone NEVER use Expedia....they are Liars, thieves and cowards. They are out of control and no one is stopping them. And as with most corperations if no one stops them they will steal you blind.
