Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I booked my move with Express Van Line July 21, 2014 with a deposit of $845.77. My move was booked for Aug 15.

I received confirmation and emails from Jason, the person that had booked my move, informing me I was in good hands, and he would take care of me every step of the way.

Aug 5 I received an afternoon phone call from a person named Alex saying her was from dispatch and he wanted to pack me and load me the next day, 10 days before my scheduled move. When I told him it just wouldn't work on such short notice, that I didn't have anyone in Missoula, MT that was available to receive the load. He became frustrated and said he would then have to come to my house to look at the contents that were being moved. This had never been suggested beforehand. He then said that I probably had more then I originally told them and it might cost more, even though I had what they called a binding reservation. Alex told me he would be at my house either Thursday or Friday and would call me to tell me which day.

Yesterday was Friday and by 3:00pm no one had called, or shown up, so I called the company. When I phoned several of the numbers there wasn't an answer or a recording telling me the mailboxes had not been set up. Finally someone name Josh Wiley answered the phone and said in an offhanded manner, "Oh yeah your move was cancelled this morning and I was going to call you, we have to re-schedule." I explained to him I couldn't re-schedule I had commitments and another driver going to MT with me and flying back. We have non-refundable airline tickets, etc. He kept telling me not to worry he would take care of me, he "promised" and would call me back in 2 hours and most likely they would move me tomorrow, Sunday, could I be ready? Well, it's 24 hours later and neither Josh, or anyone, has bothered to call back.

They literally left me hanging and made it necessary to scramble, on a weekend, to arrange a move.

Luckily for me I paid my deposit with my Debit Card so I called my bank's fraud dept. and reported them and recouped my money. I also called Pay Pal's fraud dept. and reported them, as that is how this shoddy moving company takes payments.

Last night when I opened Express Van Line's web page the Ripoff Report also loaded with it and I began to read and discovered I am not the only person that has been dupped. I had initially read the reviews on Express's web page and only went with that. Should have researched more and saved some heartache.

The Ripoff Report has all addresses to contact to file a fraud report, including the Las VEgas DA, BBB, and NV Business and Industry address.

These guys are crooks, liars, dishonest and thieves and they have to be put out of business. Do not, and I say NOT, book a move with them.
