Fairbanks Capital ripoff Clinton Twp Michigan
My mortgage was taken over by Fairbanks Capital in 1998. At that time I was in Chapter 13 status paying weekly to my trustee. I had no knowledge of Fairbanks until my completion of Chapter 13 in July 2003. That is when my nightmare began. I overpaid thru the Chapter 13 process, I requested an audit of my account, and found so many fradulent charges assessed to my mortgage I was outraged. The final end result happened last Friday October 8, 2004 through no knowledge of my own, Fairbanks foreclosed on my property without any audit being comepleted or final foreclosure being forwarded to me at all.
I am so overwhelmed they have had the ability to ruin so many lives. I filed Chapter 13 while going thru a divorce to save my home for my children, only to have Fairbanks foreclose on me. I need to know where others have turned to get refinanced at this point due to the fact Fairbanks has ruined by credit. I am at at a loss for words. I thought when the US government filed suit I would somehow be protected from all of this - was I wrong. This is criminal what they have done. Only to chage their name at the end.

From experience I can tell you that Fairbanks Capital is the worst financial institution in our country. We also went through the same problems that both of you have experienced and were threatened with foreclosure. We were trying to negotiate with them, sent them copies of our insurance policy, copies of cancelled checks, but they wouldn't listen. We did our research on the internet and came across some attorneys that are suing Fairbanks. We ended up contacting one of the firms and have a class action suit against Fairbanks. I don't think that we will get any money out of it, but at least it will stop the threats of foreclosure and give us some piece of mind. I would recommend to give it a try and do some research. Do not let Fairbanks win!!! Good luck.

fairbanks foreclosed on my property and i lost it. i wrote to the sttorney general, gov bush and the state senator. fairbanks responded to them and made me look like such a liar that i am at a loss for words however with the past 4 hurricanes that have hit us i know these fools (the state) have more on their mind than me but i shall compose a letter to the bigwigs of florida and prove that fairbanks is more than crooked. Just needed to get this off my mind. fairbanks is the largest crooks ever
