Fairbanks Capital These folks have an agenda and it is not fair treatment Starting to make a move to rip off in Salt Lake CityUtah
Fairbanks holds my second mortgage. My payment becomes past due on the 2nd of the month.
I am disabled due to heart disease and stroke. Because I was born on the 30th day of the month, my SS is deposited at the end of each month. I always pay my bill, but recently Fairbanks has started calling me on the 25th of the month wanting to know where my payment is. Each month, I go through the same thing, and they always get the paymt before the past due date.
I am starting to see a distrubing patern emerge. The company is starting to send out a confusing statement which makes it seem as though I owe two payments. It just says pay such and such with out making any reference to payments not received.
After looking at this bill for quite a while I almost believed that I owed this amount. Just before I sent a check, I noticed in very small print "if you have sent you previous payment, please pay half the amount."
I have no problem with paying my bills. I do, however, resent, a statement of account which causes me to infer that I have defaulted when in reality, it seems as though they are trying to get an extra payment which, given the companies reputation, might easily end up missing or not posted.
I never chose Fairbanks as a loan service co. They just bought my paper. I know what I am saying is true, My mortgage broker makes a bad noise whenever that companies name is mentioned. I read the reports here and I have never had any words what so ever from any other lender. These folks have an agenda and it is not fair treatment of Americans.
