Fairfield Resort Royal Vista Bitten by bed bugs! What a horrific experience. I will be paranoid for the rest of my life Pompano Florida
Me and my fiance had a horrible experience at Fairfield Resort Royal Vista located in Pompano Florida. We were bitten by bed bugs that were discovered all over the mattress, boxspring, headboard, behind the head board, on the dust ruffle and who knows where else that may have been that we could not see. We were in the room for about three to four days when we discovered the bugs. It was too late. We had bites and marks that were raised and itched like crazy. We had to be treated at the emergency room and followed up with other doctors to receive additional treatment. This is an experience that one will never forget. We were moved to another room. We stayed at the Resort so we would not contaminate our home with these critters. We had to wash our clothes, get fresh towels everyday. We still have marks on our body. I am taking medication for having severe allergies from this ordeal. I would like to find out what recourse do we have. This will affect us for the rest of our lives. I own part of the Resort and I pay monthly maintenance fees that are suppose to cover proper housecleaning etc. These bugs had been there for a while. The dust ruffle had so many bugs there. It is upsetting to know that you think that you are getting a nice room and proper sanitation is done. After this ordeal, I don't want to stay at any of the Resorts, yet I am still paying for the Resort. I would like to hear from others who have had experience at any of the Fairfield Resorts. I did require the REsort document this incident, which was done.
