I went to a site where it advertised free ebay cd for $1.95 or 1.97. Then a week or so later fastauction.com showed up on my bank account charging me 49.95. The day before on my bank statement keywordsuccess charged me 16.95

There was nothing of these hidden charges explained. When I called my bank they tried to connect to the phone number that was the same for both charges and it said it was the wrong number. That was the number the bank had so they are now sending me dispute papers to try to get my money back.

There is no way to contact them threw their website either. I am fuming mad.

I am happy to report that I filed disputes with my bank on by charges. Both amounts were credited back into my account only two days after filing. Thank goodness for my bank. I did have to cancel my card but that was okay with me. I will not make the same mistake again.

I filed a dispute for the 49.95 yesterday and it has been credited back into my bank. Will see if the other charge is returned. Thanks.

Hi, I had a similar thing happen to me as this is a common problem happining espessially over the internet. Your bank usually will not help you but they will recommend for you to call the company and if you can't get in touch with them I don't know if your bank will help you. My bank would not file a dispute for me and told me that I would have to get in touch with the company that ripped me off, or just be out of luck. One time I purchased something on Ebay for 18.00 and got double charged 18.00 twice and Ebay didn't have a customer service number and the number that the bank gave me was bad also. I am thinking that your bank won't do anything for you unless the company responds. Because most banks are covered under fraud, like if your card gets stollen but with a dispute most banks are very strict with. I have had quite a few disputes not go through and my bank would not help me. You are very lucky that you only lost a small ammount of money. I would also tell your bank to send you another card and close that one out in case they try to charge you again, I doubt that they will but it may make you feel at ease to have another card sent out. Some banks will just credit your card back with the money and go after them there self with the dispute, but most banks are getting strict lately and will not do a thing. I hope that you do get your money back and keep us updated on how everything goes. What about that company did you check them out and see if they are legit. I will only shop online with trusted companies and if I have never heard of a company I wouldn't dare shop there before at least checking them out and reading reviews on them, etc. I trust a select few online sites such as Walmart.com and dvdempire.com, etc and only about 10-15 stores online that I trust because you just cannot trust every site without checking them out first. Espessially if you see special offers or advertisements and all, the internet is more dangerous than people know. Someone a while back somehow stole my info from Pay Pal and charged hundreds of dollars before my bank closed/denied the card and I filed fraud and got all of my money back instantly, when I called my bank I was in shock what had happened and they investigated it and everything was ok but I still don't know how it happened and I guess my bank went after the person who stole the card. Trust me you are very lucky but I would avoid a lot of online sites because there are thousands that will over charge you. We were also ripped of on Columbia House dvds/cds online a long time ago we were ripped of by 80.00 and the bank wouldn't do anything. Columbia House was suppose to only charge 5.00 and we got ripped off bad. Keep us updated on this report!

I got my free cd yesterday. It was damaged. Another rip off. I contacted [email protected]. They are a holding company for pmauction and pmkeywordsuccess. They told me they have nothing to do with the incidents described. They told me to go ahead and file my disputes. They said they just aquired this domain and do not know who the previous owner was. They also told me they do not have any of my bank information. Another dead end. i took photos of the ebay cd also.
