Federated Department Stores, macy's credits a payment and then charges late fees excessive finance charges Ripoff Kenner Louisiana
I had the same problem with Macy's as the Bon Macy's complainer.
Only in my case, Macy's actually credited a payment by directly depositing the money back into my checking account, then began to charge late fees and excessive finance charges. I made several efforts ot contact the company to straighten out the mess. I was ignored until I contacted the Better Business Bureau of Illinois. At that point the sitation got worse. They reopened the account, which had closed, and began charging more fees. I recived an envelope with old copies of billing statements with no explanation or resolution of the original problem.
