FenceTraders.com Eric J Hoover sent me a crappy product, claimed he would correct it, but just pocketed my $150 Warren, Ohio

Ordered 54 adapters that were stated to fit 2 1/2 posts. Order arrived. The box contained 4 adapters not packaged and a sealed bag marked 2 1/2". The four that were not packaged, I checked to ensure fit my posts. They were 2 3/4 inches wide and easily fit over my 2 1/2 posts.
A couple months passed before I was ready to accomplish this task. I immediately noticed the adapters in the bag were made differently. Then, it became clear they would not fit onto my posts. I did a comparison with the 4 adapters I had checked upon arrival and discovered that even though these were all sent to me under the same part number and in the same box , they are two very different sized fittings.
I contacted Eric Hoover via email and sent him pictures showing the 1/4 inch difference in size and explained my issue to him. I received an email from him:
Thank you for your very clear descriptions and photographs. I will have to check with the warehouse tomorrow and compare what our current stock is measuring so we can get you the correct items. Although your return/exchange is outside of our window, I sympathize with your situation, and I will do what I can to make this order right. Thanks, in advance, for your patience while I get to the bottom of this one.
This was the FIRST and LAST communication I ever received from Eric Hoover of FenceTraders.com. He never sent a refund or even acknowledged my issue. He never bothered to inform me he was not going to address my issue. Weeks passed, so I finally filed a complaint with BBB which he never acknowledged in 30 days so they closed the case.
