Ferguson Pontiac-GMC Deceptive Financing Bait and Switch Colorado Springs Colorado
I have filed a complaint with the BBB in hopes of resolving this issue myself.
On thursday January 3rd, I recieved a call from the salesmen named Fernando Ozuna stating that they had committed fraud amd they needed to return their 2007 Denali that we had just purchased. I was amazed as we spent almost 3 hours at the dealership discussing financing on the 14th and such. We got to test drive the vehicle for less then half a block and that was all. I went in on Saturday the 5th to discuss my options.
They stated that because the denali which was for me was actually for my brother in law so the application for my financing terms were denied. They then gave me 3 different options. Option 1 accept higher interest loan different then the agreed contract, 2 keep the car and find own financing within 45 days however if financing could not be obtained then I would be charged daily charges and mileage or 3 return the car to their possession and pay their outrageous fees. I was between a rock and a hard place. I opted for option 3.
I upheld my end of the contract and they backed out. I do not feel that I should be charged the .50 per mile and the 50 day charge for their mistakes. This could be considered bait and switch. I am going in today to pick up my check but I think I deserve it all back.
They will give you a car but they will make you come back and charge you outrageous fees.
