I believe that Sedgwick CMS has not only a "business obligation" to provide quality service to their customers (employers / claimants) alike, but also have a social responsibility when dealing with people that are ill and vulnerable. If Sedgwick CMS is simply a middleman in the insurance / benefits industry then perhaps a good solid look at their core values as a company are in order. Yes I believe that a company like GE is capable of providing whatever type of Reasonable Accommodation that a person with a disability might require is certainly within reason.

Good evening Bob. Please let me start by wishing you good luck s against GE. But after reviewing your situation I am wondering how Sedgewick is to blame for this. I understand that they are the administrator of the benefits you are getting (when you get them) from GE, but shouldn't you be focusing on GE for giving them false information?? They are the middle person after all. They can only go by what GE tells them. Please let me know what I am missing out on here. Something else you can throw out there is age discrimination (I am assuming from the age of your sons you are maybe at least 50 right??? From the conversation you had with "The Flower" it sounded like you have a case for this as well as the GE HR folks for submitting false documentation to keep you from getting any kind of disability as well as failure to comply with ADA. I would think in this day and age of the internet that you could do alot of work (even an 8 hour day) from home. I would think they could supply you with some equipment to do video conferencing to conduct training from home as well as meetings to do your regular work. This would even lower the expenses from you flying to work as well right?
