This was an eBay vehicle where the dealer discusses how the car is immaculate and the dealer works hard to insure their cars are in great condition. I bought the car and had it shipped. Within the first moments of taking the car to have it washed it started rumbling loudly and wouldn't move. I called the dealer and was told to call "Summer" the administrative assistant as there was "nothing they could do". My call was avoided over the next two days. Meanwhile the temporary tag was only good for two days after delivery. The car worked long enough to get it to the shop where I was told all service records had been pulled from all Mercedes dealers on this S550 and there were "none" after the manufacturer's warranty.

All fluids and filters were dirty, engine and transmission mounts were worn out, tires were worn and needed replacing to pass inspection, brakes were worn down to the rotors, and it required a tune up. Further, the car could not be driven from the shop. I was flying to Texas for Thanksgiving. My state said the title information was completed incorrectly anyway and the car could not be registered here. I went to the dealership and overheard the owner Ramin talking to Summer on speaker phone. When I called to see if we could talk about my transmission he texted me and said he was with his family. Summer admitted knowing there were issues with the mounts and when I told her the tranny was completely out she said "that's why we try to get everyone to buy warranties before the car leaves the lot.

Just wait thirty days and file a claim against the warranty you bought". Well the waiting period is 30 days AND 1000 miles, which is now impossible but is also fraud because of a "preexisting condition". I have filed a complaint with FTC and BBB. One attorney has already regarded the AS IS policy as "unconscionable" and has offered to take the case if this isn't resolved. I've been in a rental since I bought this car. I've got list of repairs at $3300 not including tires and a $7000 transmission. The car hasn't been driven 30 miles and is already a loss. My issue is this dealer KNEW this car was a lemon and worked aggressively to push it off on me hoping it would last 30 days. I plan to fight every inch of the way until I get my money back or the dealer repairs this vehicle.

I can honestly report that Venture and Ramin Nia have made every effort to assist me in resolving the issue with the vehicle I purchased. In fact, Mr. Nia has gone out of his way to locate a new transmission at a third of the cost that I was quoted, coordinated shipping and even communicated with the repair shop in my city to insure that I wasn't being charged unnecessary fees. Subsequent to that he offered a settlement where he paid part of the cost of the transmission work. Our conversations have been cordial and he is indeed a professional who has shown me he is concerned about his reputation and making sure his clients are satisfied. There was a title issue that was the fault of my local DMV and he has worked on that as well when I realize it wasn't his error or responsibility. How can I not be pleased? He has worked diligently to get me a new title since the agent here marked on it and stayed in contact with me about it. He has really been good about resolving this situation. I honestly wish reports could be removed but I think perhaps it speaks more to his character if other customers see the lengths he's gone to to resolve all of these concerns within this time frame. Other lesser dealers would've hidden behind AS-IS. Mr. Nia has also tried to help me secure a reputable warranty to protect the future of my purchase. My final assessment is A+++ and I would do business with him again given his professionalism regarding this situation that looked bleek. D'Angelo, Pfafftown, North Carolina

See YOU are the problem. You NEVER buy a vehicle sight unseen. Its just NOT SMART! Then to compound the issue, YOU bought it on EBAY! Computers are useful but come on! WHERE in ANY of this is ANY common sense used BY YOU? ITS NOT!  Let me educate you. See it was a AS IS purchase. So YOU can spend all the time you want spreading your BS all over the web. But at some point YOU WILL GIVE UP! At some point YOU will realize that YOU got EXACTLY what you paid for. And that the energy YOU are spending to spread your BS over the web isnt worth it any more because NO ONE CARES! YOU can be as butthurt as you like, it still wont change REALITY! REALITY is that no matter how bad YOU SAY it is, its NEVER that bad. YOU will say ANYTHING, besmirch ANYONE to get YOUR money back. Up to and including creating defaming remarks online. Meaning each time YOU go online and spew YOUR VERSION of the story WITHOUT PROOF you would be committing an offense that YOU can be sued for. There are real life consequences to using a computer. YOU are now dealing with it. Not everything SHOULD be purchased online. YOUR version of the truth is NOT the whole truth. By wasting your time its just YOU trying to make yourself feel better. YOU will NOT get the outcome YOU WANT. NOTHING you say is going to dissuade ANYONE else because each and every American citizen doesnt think it will EVER happen to them. YOU are a victim of the choices YOU made and nothing more. Its a AS IS purchase and YOU agreed to it all. So instead of blasting OTHERS for the choice YOU made, maybe spend that energy fixing the vehicle THAT IS YOURS!

You send your money off to somebody you don't know to buy a used car you've never seen! You base the decision to buy this dumb, stupid car only upon pictures, words in an e-mail and a voice on the phone! How impressive THAT is! Did they scam you? Of course they did and YOU went right along with it by throwing common sense out the window for a dumb, stupid car. Yes sir...there was a lot of dumb and stupid here!!!
