Fifth Third Bank tells you that the debit card is free, but you WILL receive a bill for "enhanced" debit card service; if their system makes any mistake to your account, they will bill YOU regardless of whether it was their mistake! They will often hold check deposits from a local bank/business for up to SEVEN business days before posting it! If you should contact them in disagreeance, you will STILL PAY SERVICE CHARGES!! Some banks give out toasters, keychains, etc., Fifth Third needs to give out jars of vasoline so that at least it isn't a dry f*#k!!

I don't know why anyone banks with 5/3 in the first place. They're possibly the worst financial institution I've ever known of. ONE overdraft of any amount, and you're reported to Chexsystems. This means that you can't open an account ANYWHERE else for 5 YEARS! This is how they keep their customers. And of course there are hidden fees in everything they do.
