First Capital Consumers Group aka First Guardian National Bank ripoff $199 fee for 2 credit cards with free cell phone I stopped payment in time but they still got me, TWICE! Buffalo or Toronto
Got a call from First Capital Consumers Group. The deal was $199 fee for 2 credit cards, one Visa for $2500 and one Mastercard for $2000, along with a free cell phone.
I talked with a girl named Sara Grady (if that is her real name) and she was very rude.
I told her she shouldn't be a supervisor because she does not know how to treat her customers and I guess she got upset with my comment and chewed my a*s.
I just told her I did not have to sit there and listen to that and I hung up on her. I called the customer service number back and asked to talk with a manager or someone above her and the guy said he'd have a manager call me back. Obviously no call. I did stop payment before they could take any money out.
Just a couple days ago, I received a call from First Guardian National Bank. Same kind of deal only this was just approval for a Mastercard $2500 limit.. 0% interest for the first year and after that 9.8%.
Also $199 fee for the card and they said I was also approved for a Visa, however they would just send that paperwork in the mail with the card, which I was already approved, but I wouldn't have to fill it out and send back if I didn't want the Visa.
This guy, Nathan was his so-called name, gave me the same customer service number as the other company that called a week earlier and I asked him why the numbers were the same if the companies were not even in connection with one another and he couldn't answer that question for me.
The number by the way was (416) 921-7440. However I had already given him my info, but lucky for me I also stopped payment on that one before any money could be taken out.

If these companies have your bank information, you HAVE NO CHOICE but to close the account. They have many, many DBA's they will use to CONTINUE to debit...NON-STOP! File fraud affidavit at your bank. File complaints with the FTC and Phionebusters 1-888-495-8501 By the way, 416 area code is in CANADA and will cost you more from the US.
They still got me!!

I got to my bank to put a stop payment on my account and they still got me! I checked on my account this morning and my account was overdrawn. They had taken $199 out of my account
TWICE! I called my bank right away and they are going to put the money back into my account today! Please don't EVER give out your information over the phone...I thought I had
stopped them and they still got me!
