I was contacted by an Anthony Williams with First Property Funding saying he had a buyer for my timeshare at Summer Bay Resort in Clairmont, Fl. located 6 miles from Disney World. He sent me a sales contract with a buyer listed as Garry Fisher. The contract stated that I had to put down a refundable title security fee of $2250.00 while the buyer put down a deposit of $7500.00 that would be forfieted to me should he change his mind. His financing had already been secured.

I was able to reach Anthony Williams at the number given to me (1-424-332-3988) to question the hold up on the closing. I was told that Summer Bay had the first option to repurchase the property and they were awaiting their response. Meanwhile Summer Bay has contacted me a number of times wanting to know if I was going to use my points this year.

I have attempted to contact Anthony several times and I get the voicemail of a woman unknown to me. Thinking possibly Anthony had left the company I left multiple messages on this voicemail but no one has responded. That is when I found your site and the multiple complaints about this company.

I am extremely upset over this as I am a disabled widow of 67. I purchased this property for my grandchildren and had what I thought was the chance to make a profit. Since I purchased the property my son has lost his job and he and his wife have had a new baby. They live with me and I completely support them on my social security. When I was contacted it was the opportunity to recoup some of the much needed money for all the extra mouths to feed.

I  am registered with 2 different companies who will either handle rental or resale of properties, so I felt like this was someone who had requested my information from them. Where else could they obtain my information?

It is maddening to know that there are people out there who take advantage of trusting people instead of earning an honest living themselves. I am upset with myself for falling for their scam, but mostly I am infuriated that I went into debt to obtain the required security title fees. I hope that this information helps someone else to not fall victium to such evil people.
