I understand how you feel. the car I bought has been in my possession now for almost two years, and I have only put 3500 miles on it and I have changed the Carb which needed overhauling, the intake manifold had a damaged flange, the Distributor had slop in the bearings and had to be changed, the water pump was changed, the radiator was not the right size and the car overheated which was changed out, the engine wiring harness was defective and caused a under the hood fire, the radio didnt work, the weatherstipping was deteriorated and the there is still a leak on the windshield above the drivers seat that I have yet to correct, It didnt pass the first safety inspection, had loose steering. And I still havent got the hearter working on it either.
Now all of this is understandable for buying a 36 year old car but when its advertised as a "WORLD CLASS RESTORATION", well I hope you get the picture.
I would have to get all my recipts out to see how much I have spent to keep this car operating, but you know, atleast I am not dealing with em anymore. Of course when he reads this he will most likely threaten me with a legal action, so be prepared for that.
TO ALL THE PEOPLE OUT THERE, I AM SURE THEY HAVE SOLD SOME GOOD CARS IN THE PAST, BUT MINE WAS NOT ONE OF THEM. THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS "DRIVE IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT." IF YOU DONT, ITS A CRAP SHOOT."
I AM JUST GLAD I AM NO LONGER DEALING WITH THEM. I LEARNED MY LESSON. NEVER TO BUY A CAR ON THE INTERNET WITHOUT PHYSICALLY CHECKING THE CAR OUT AND DRIVING IT. THAT I BLAME MYSELF FOR.

We have a 71 corvette from Flemings that isn't drivable and taking up space in the garage. Tony - Do you realize how stupid your responses are to these claims. You tell us we only paid $30,000 when Barrett Jackson would charge us $50 to $70. They wouldn't even allow your cars in their auctions.
You advertise them as drivable and showable so they should be. It is called fraud and misrepresentation of the cars you sell. Ours was advertised as such and I have the email saying it is ready to go. Really!!! It isn't even restored as you advertised, the power steering is shot (fluid drains out), brake lights never worked, rear brakes do not work, and the list goes on and on. By the time we invest in it just to make it the car you said it was, we could have went and bought a real car from Barrett Jackson.
Rich said he would drive this car to California. I would love to see that. It would have to be after another $10 to $15 is invested to make it safe to drive.
You need put out of business so I hope when we go to court - we succeed in keeping other people from being RIPPED OFF by you.

I didnt buy the junky Trans Am from GM. I bought it from Tony Fleming. But I shouldnt expect any better response from a used car salesman.
Actually, my wife and I must laugh at your business. Whats sad, is we consumers on the market keep your establishment open.
Just to let you know in case you forgot, since buying this TA in April of 2011, i have had to change all of the weatherstripping to the doors, the locks on the doors and the trunk, the radio never even worked, the radiator, the water pump, the fuel pump, the distributor, the spark plug wires, the intake manifold, the carb, the trunk tensioning rods which were forgotten to install on your "World Class Restoratioin", and last week the transmission locked up in second gear.
Wiith a few additional thousands of dollars we will eventually get it. I dont want your money any more, or for you to participate in the corrections of this car. I dont want you taking credit, which I am sure as most used car salesmen would, jump on that like flies on feces.
Sadly, someone else will eventually be taken to the cleaners. Lord knows there is enough of em on here. I will keep you updated of any other break downs. Just so you can perhaps put it on your list of things for your mechanics to ensure they dont forget to inspect before one of your cars roll out the door to another unsuspecting consumer.
Remember, the truth is sometimes hard to accept. I would leave you alone if you would just admit on here that the car was NOT a "World Class Restoration" as you advertised. I promise not to hold my breath.

This guy asks for 750 to make ALL the repairs, we gave it to him, now he wants more. Some people just arent happy in general and even winning the lottery wont fix this guy.

After several months again with myself overseas and some emails, the 74 Trans Am I purchased from Flemings is close to being properly restored. With additional moneys spent on items missed by Flemings Ultimate Garage restoration, the car is now nearing proper completion. The engine harness is being a true hard thing to obtain.
The car does get alot of comments at the shop waiting on the engine electrical harness, and hopefully she will be closer to a restoration, yet very far from a "World Class Restoration". Maybe, I can start enjoying the car I purchased this spring.

If you want the car to be correct, you must order correct parts, not radiators made for 6 cylinders. The car now runs 165 degrees on the highway, but it still overheating in city. I got my car on the road with the money for the CORRECT radiator. Atleaset I can now drive it to places when I need specialist help.
The car was NOT world class restored. But I am atleast satisfied I can alteast drive it.
My all around opinion of FUG is the same as all car purchases. If you dont drive it, dont buy it. By putting your money in someone elses hands before you see the car, is my lesson. I am sure that FUG has sold some excellent cars in the past and will do so in the future. But my car was not one of them. I still have thousands of dollars of work to the car to get it completely restored, so dont pat yourself too hard, you may loose wind

Im not really sure how someone can agree that 750.00 will make them happy, sign a release saying so and then complain it's not enough. Fully restored Trans Am's for $60K at Barrett Jackson , but the client paid 29K. If only 750.00 made the client happy on a 40 year old car, Im not sure whats the complaint. Car was shipped with the factory radiator, not a radiator for Saudi Arabia. C'mon man, enjoy the car and stop trying to get something for free.

If its such a good buy, why did you immediately want to give me some of my money back? If you want your $750 back I can wire it to you as soon as I get back in the USA on Monday. Just let me know what you want, the deal or the $750.

I am currently overseas and have been for the last 8 weeks. I spoke with my wife today and she informed me that a letter had arrived from Flemings Ultimate Garage. She opened the letter and found a $750 refund check for the replacement radiator and accessories for the 74 Trans Am. She is going to deposit the check into the bank on Sept 13 or 14. When the money has been deposited in my bank account, another notice indicating a solution to this issue had been reached between Flemings and myself.
Until then, the report stands as is and no changes will be made until the check has cleared the bank.

At the Barrett Jackson auction, fully restored Trans Ams were going for $55K to $70K, which is significantly more than what this client paid, which included fully enclosed shipping to Texas !We're talking about a couple of bulbs ( 50) , a rear view mirror ( 100 ) and a window regulator ( 200 )? If thats whats left on 40 year old car to make it nice and include shipping, I think most would agree, nice buy. Look at the pics and video, we left them on our site for you to see yourself. Client went straight to ripoff report without giving us a chance. Unfair !

My $29000 74 TA would not even pass the Texas State inspection. I had to repair lights and re-view mirrors. I have also had to order a Window glass carrier "regulator" for the Drivers window. It would not roll up all the way and since the window weather seals, were bad I got rain inside the car on our first rainstorm. Restored my A$$.
