Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My Husband and I purchased a Dodge Caravan from the above mentioned Company in February. We were told that we would qualify for a Buy Here/Pay Here Loan for $75 a week, or $300 total a month. We were informed we must put $1500 down, which we did and pay $175 for a new license plate.

A month and a half later the plate came in, and we were told we owed an additional $2.00 for the plate. My husband was out of work for a week and a half due to our ill infant. We got behind 1 month the COMPANY says...According to the company we were behind 4 payments, but 3 late fees. We received a letter from the Company on May 9th after 6:00 at night and were unable to call them back. The letter simply stated you are late on your payments in the amount of $300, please call and let us know when you can make the payment. Sunday morning I went out to go to the store, this was MOTHER'S DAY, the car is gone.

We called the police Dept. It took us over 30 min. to track down that the Car was Repossessed. Our Car seat for our Infant was in the car, among other personal belongings. We were given a phone number to call.

We tried all day Sunday and half of Monday to reach someone. No one would assist us, and we were told by the "COMPANY" that they didn't feel like doing business w/ us anymore.

Why should they let us know that they were going to repo our car, and too bad that we had belongings in it. If we didn't bring over $3900 to them, then we could not have the car back.

But, this is the catch. This total is including late fees and repo fees, and if not paid, we will still owe this amount of Money.

We offered to bring in at least half of this immediately, or even the past due amount of $300, $200 for the Repossession fee, and the Late fees. They denied us the right to pay anything. They said they would only accept payment in full if we wanted our car back.

As of yet we can not get our possessions out of the van. No one will answer the phone, or tell us where it is being held at except a phone number and that it is on a "NIGHT RECOVERY" lot.

Regardless of whether we were slightly behind in payments, I think they should of sent us some notification or warning, and given us the opportunity to PAY THEM! I feel like they SCAMMED us into throwing large amounts of $$ down, and then too repossession the first moment they could and now will put this back on there lot and make double $$ off of this vehicle!

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! WE were told no one would repossess the van, that is not how they do business, and that if we got behind that was o.k., they were there to help people when we signed our paperwork. The Van was also sold to us w/ FAULTY A/C that was fixed upon possession, and broke again 2 wks. later. We believe the transmission is going out, too....maybe we got lucky..who knows! BUYER BEWARE!
