I'm not quite sure what Floyd means when he writes that I "did not have the proper materials or realistic expectations in regards to the amount of repairs she wanted done that was outside the scope of the dealfind coupon."
I wanted to have some trim painted and a few shelves hung. I was also interested in getting a bid for fixing an old chimney, but knew that the actual chimney repair would not be covered by a single voucher.
It's too bad Floyd didn't do his research before taking part in a daily deal program, but the fact is that he did agree to DealFind's terms when he offered the voucher. I agree that "half of the 39 dollars, minus gas" is close to working for free, but that is in no way my problem.
Floyd, if you believe DealFind is a scam, just remember that you're the one who decided to business with them in the first place.

In regards to the customer above, I agree that thier was some miscommunication. However, the customer fails to remember that I came out and was ready to work the first time. She failed to state that they did not have the proper materials or realistic expectations in regards to the amount of repairs she wanted done that was outside the scope of the dealfind coupon.
The Dealfind coupons were oversold by dealfind and I encouraged her to get a refund. Is that a scam.
I believe that this is slanderous and unacceptable as the complaint states I directed her to a refund and she refused. The scam is dealfind and customers who think they are going to get a makeover for 39 dollars. Dealfind is not a good fit for small business or homeowners. You get what you pay for. I get half of the 39 dollars, minus gas and in most instances I work for free or worse. You decide where the scam is.
