I got a call that said that I won a $1000 shoping spree and a free plane ticket to some random places. all I had to do was pay $4.95 for shipping of the package and agree to a trial period for three offers.

I was told that I would be able to just call and cancel the offers and I would not be charged.

I successfully cancelled one of the offers. but I have had my phone to my ear for I don't even know how long listening to really bad music waiting for someone to pick up and no one is. I don't have the money for these offers and I will get uber overdraft fees if they don't pick up their phone and cancel this.

Don't do this... it sucks.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The company you are referring to is RTS Group, which was using a name that is very similar to ours...

We are a sixteen-year-old company called Ideal Financial Solutions, Inc., and we have never billed you for any of our services. We are one of the largest online financial companies in the country, and we have hundreds of thousands of very happy clients. In fact, it was one of our clients who contacted us and told us about this report. RTS Group did use the names Ideal Financial Solutions and Ideal Financial Services, but as soon as we discovered this, we forced them to stop using our name. One of the problems with marketing on the Internet is that it is easy for dishonest companies to use similar names of reputable companies. Then inaccurate reports like this get written, and, like you, we become one of their victims. We wish there was something that could be done to stop this type of dishonest behavior, but unfortunately, until there are better regulations of the Internet, this may be an ongoing problem.

I finally got through to all the companies and I got everything cancelled but it was dfinitely a pain in the rear end and I would suggest that everyone avoid this at all costs. i'm just glad I'm free of all this and I hope they don't charge me.

They answered and I got it cancelled. It just took a 20 minute phone call full of holding to horrible music and a woman who can barely speak english trying to tell me about the company and I responded with "I just want to cancel it" countless times. But it was eventually cancelled. I will be changing my bank acocunt when I get back from vacation to ensure that they will not charge me.
