Frank Setola - Cheryl Setola AKA Coverings And Installations intentionally ripoff, damaged property, lied Spring Lake New Jersey
Frank Setola portrays himself to be a contractor. He tries to come off as a business man, but the only business he knows of is to steal all your money and walk away after he sucked you dry.
Frank Setola talked our family into buying an old home as an "investment". He said since he is a contractor, he would do all the work and the only thing we would have to do is pay for the costs involved to repair the house and any profit we make we could pay him a percentage.
Frank Setola told us he owned numerous properties in Spring Lake and drove us around to show us these mansions that he said he repaired (which was a lie) and that we could make a profit of $200,000.00.
Frank Setola came to our home many times to just socialize and make like he was trying to become our friend. He was trying to gain our trust in him.
Frank Setola has lied to us about many things to make us feel sorry for him, eg. brain tumors, car accidents, general health.
In any event, within several months, he robbed us of $86,000.00 and took off.
At the time he was trying to "befriend" us, I was pregnant with my first child. He knew that I wanted to stay home and raise my son. He convinced us that we would make a great profit and with that profit I can buy a home for my family. Because of Frank Setola's crime, we are losing our home and had to sell many personal items just to feed ourselves. Frank Setola has ruined our lives. He needs to be put away behind bars!
There have been at least four families who have contacted the police about Frank Setola. He has been arrested in August of 2003 and December 2003. There is a grand jury trial that will be set for sometime at the end of January 2004 or February 2004.
