Freedom Sales - Sunshine Subscription Agency Represented themselves as honest salesgirls earning a trip; sweet-talked us into paying inflated prices for mags; ripoff Coral Springs Florida
Two girls in their mid-20s knocked on our apt. door tonight saying they were selling magazines to earn points toward a trip to Cancun, etc.
Extremely friendly and outgoing, we listened to their sales spiel and ended up writing two checks for a total of $84 for subscriptions to two magazines. Later, we found that our young next door neighbors had paid them $120!
A half hour after they left, I still felt uneasy and went online to check out the company listed on the receipts they'd written. I found them listed in the rip-off report! We immediately called our local police, who said a crime wasn't committed till they cashed the checks.
It was an expensive lesson, but from now on, I don't care who they are, what they're selling or how they look and act, they're not getting a penny till I check them out thru your site!

From what i heard in the report, I do not see what the girls did wrong. They are trying to win a trip to Cancun. My boyfriend has won the contest twice in the past. They are just sales people who are tryng to make a living and have an opportunity to win a trip. I know all the prices are different so if you nieghbors spent 120 they probably bought different mags. So why did you call the police? Would you like the police called on you if you were just doing your job? TB
