Friedman and Associates illegal debt collector using threats of jail time to try and collect Columbus Ohio

If you are not aware, you should be aware that 99 percent of online loans are illegal in this country in most states.
Friedman and Associates attempts to collect from the poor soul who took an illegal online loan and after better judgement stopped payment (which is very legal ).
First thing that will happen is you will recieve a call from a "local" number. This telephone number is faked. The person will identify themselves as John from Local City Detective Agency or Sherriff John from local county police or John from Loca City Process servers, or better yet as a person working for your attorney's office and the call will show up on your caller ID as your attorney's number!!! All of it, every single bit is faked!!
The he will tell you that criminal charges are about to be filed against you, but you can avoid the charges if you just call 888-229-8303 and give them the claim number he provides you. He sounds either very very stern and business like of he is pretending to be the Sherrif, Server or Detective or he will be your bestest buddy if he claims to work for your attorney.
Then you are so shaken by this you call the 888-229-8303 number and provide the claim number and a very very stern woman will tell you you need to settle this matter right now! If you ask for a validation of the debt, for a physical addres forFriedman and associates or any other thing you are entitled to under the laws of the United States she will get extremly nasty with you.
This company will NOT validate a dent or provide an address and even if they did, the loans are ILLEGAL to begin with so they are uncollectable!
The technics used are very very much illegal in this country and the loans are illegal, so do NOT give them any money!
Further they will have Mr. Detective/Sherriff/Investigator call your work and tell everyone they can get ahold of you are going to jail unless you call the infamous 888 number and they will do this repeadedly, multiple times a day.
If this happend to you #1 remember if it was an online payday loan, it is a 99% chance it is illegal in your state and you are inder no obligation what so EVER to pay back any more than the principle with out a single penny of interest, further even paying the principle back may not be required in your state ( I am not debating the ethics of this).
Secondly NO ONE can throw you in jail for a debt, that is called debtors rpison and is not something that can be done in the United States so do NOT let Friedman and Assoc or their croney's cause you to believe this.
