Fry's Electronics Mushkin Enhanced Memory rebate ripoff Dallas Texas
I bought a Mushkin Enhanced 256 mb PC2100 DDR DIMM at the Dallas Fry's store two months ago. The memory had a $30 rebate. I followed the rebate instructions exactly and mailed it in with the Fry's "rebate" receipt. I'd been burned before on Fry's rebates and read the instructions three times and carefully submitted. Well today I got a postcard from Mushkin Enhanced Memory Systems saying that my rebate would not be processed because I did not include a sales receipt. I'm not convinced that Fry's rebates are nothing but a scam.
