Complaint Review: GBY Liquidations - Gulport Mississippi

First and foremost the operators of this fraudulent business are using an alias for surnames. Gabriel Leoni has a nefarious reputation within the Gulfport, MS community as a very self important and jovial Italian guy who likes to talk and act the part whenever someone is paying attention.

In fact he is not Italian...not even remotely. His real name is Julio Perayra and he was born in Paraguay. He has an extensive criminal history including theft and breaking and entering while living in Miami area and after moving to Gulfport to lay low, married into a family in the area.

Interestingly, the punishment meted out for his crimes involved a stay at a mental ward to avoid prison, which is none too surprising given his his basic sketchy character.

This all was exposed in arrest records, court papers and many other documents legally obtained though professional investigators so these claims are not made lightly. During an extensive investigation many people in various capacities, including law enforcement, were interviewed. All this not to mention how I personally witnessed their criminal activities first hand.

The nature of the fraud and my involvement with him related to a deal to supply an large Armani lot which was promised to be very high quality, and would also include a large quantity of valuable men's suits. Not only was the lot completely misrepresented...much of it never showed up including the most valuable piece of the lot. After multiple dodges and outright lies, we decided we were not going to allow these people to continue to do business in their lifetimes without repaying damages in some noticeable way.

In early 2006 up to now my attorney in Gulfport has pursued both he and his wife, who was the manger of the business on corporate papers during the deal before they scrambled to change everything, and this past summer forced Mr. Pereyra/Leoni into a deposition where to proceeded to trip all over his story, which basically fell apart in pieces. Despite the vain attempt at legitimacy, he turned arrogant true to his nature and proved himself to be essentially nothing more than a simpleton....and quite a little punk as it were. Amazing how lucky he's been as of late not to have been cuffed by now. Sometimes luck is dumb.

Soon, we will be dragging Mrs. Valerie "Leoni" into a deposition of her own to answer questions as to the extent of her involvement in this affair.

After claiming they did not have any money, it was interesting to see their mew million dollar house on the water in Gulfport, which profiled in a local lifestyle magazine...where I guess they are managing to slum it out until things improve. The address is at 771 Destiny Plantation B, Biloxi, MS 39532.

We have traced multiple addresses, business associates, locations, boats and patterns of this couple and will see to it that one day perhaps we will be holding a line on their new palace.

Until then DO NOT DO BUSINESS IN ANY REMOTE WAY WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are for all intents and purposes running a criminal enterprise while mixing some legit business with their illegal businesses. Like anyone else who slimes their way through life as they do, the inevitability of their legal problems will likely be the only method their ways are corrected. This will be presented in detail in a court room in due time.

So, let's review:

Julio Pereyra aka Gabriel Leoni is a proven fraud and a criminal. His wife Valerie Leoni, has demonstrated her support for his activities, so basic conclusions can be drawn from this that will be further investigated.
