I used to work for a major computer company and we worked on all the store computers, registers and printers for Best Buy. They would not allow their employees, especially Geek Squad to touch them. One time I had a service call for the printer at the Geek Squad counter. The complaint was that they kept sending it job after job and nothing happened. I moved the printer out from the wall and lo and behold the ethernet network cable was unplugged. "see the pretty cable, I told them, see the nice jack in the wall with a hole that it plugs into? Now watch what happens." The employee was almost amazed when the printer started printing dozens of pages and told me "I haven't gotten to the printer training yet." Never let these oafs touch anything of yours. Occasionally the Geek Squad manager would approach me about working there and I laughed & told them Best Buy couldn't afford me. I would play piano at the house of ill repute before working at Geek Squad (probably more prestige in the piano player job).

happen to me. They had my PC for almost a month and all they had to do to it was put a video card in it. In retrospect, I shouldn't have been so lazy as to not do it myself, but, we all make mistakes.
I honestly think that the Geek Squad people don't have any kind of technical education at all.
