George Michael, Michael Scammed me out of my own money. Beverly Hills, CA and Georgia, Europe Nationwide
This man claimed he was a Petroleum Engineer, lives in CA but travels to Europe for work 4 Mos at a time. He is a professional and I know he has done this before. I met him on a dating website, deletes his profile once he has you hooked. He doesn't promise you things right away, he makes steps which makes everything believable. He says he will meet up with and takes about 4 weeks, plans it and then cancels and claims his boss is sending over seas for a job.... but gets you to believe he wants a relationship with you and if you have kids, he claims he a child as well. The red flags with my bad experience are.... Asks the same questions everyday, does not ask you new questions to get to know you better, claims to be very upset saying he lost his Visa debit card at a party when he was very tipsy and has no access to his funds.
Then gets you to feel sorry or bad for him for you to send funds no matter how small and that he is waiting for a sister or relative to send him money but they can't and makes up a story. He drags all of this on for 4 mos. Then when time comes for him to come home.... he claimed he had to cash in his plain ticket with the company to send money to Family in Malta for a wedding that he promised he would help with. Then now he can't fly home. And around his Birthday he acts very sad and depressed and suckers you in to send a large amount of money to him to get home. *** I know he does this crime often. I believe he uses other people's photos that do not come up in Google photo search. Please beware of these ROMANCE SCAMS.
