Georgeo's Water Ice Inc. George Swayngim President George Swayngim truck tire does over $3,000.00 damage to my car & he lies and hides behind his insurance comnpany Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania
My wife and I were traveling on January 27, 2012 looking forward to spending a nice weekend in Ocean City, Md. when a box truck driven by George Swayngim, owner of Georgeo's Water Ice Co. from Philadelphia and Delaware lost his left rear tire along Rt. 1 near Dover Delaware. The truck lost the tire and pulled over due to the fact that it was on it's rim. The car in front of me was able to avoid the tire by entering the left lane. There was a car in the left lane so I could not avoid hitting the tire which ended up doing over $3,000.00 damage to my car. Another car was involved and requested a report be filed by the Delaware State Police. George told me numerous times that either he would pay for my repairs or have his insurance Penn National Insurance make the repairs.
Long story short, my car is still not repaired and I have lost a lot of time trying to get George to do the right thing. The only time his insurance company contacted me was after I would threaten legal action. George does not care about his fellow man and as far as I am concerned, he is a liar. George is known as the iceman. As far as I am concerned he is no man and where he's headed he will need a lot of ice. It is so sad that there are people that hurt other people and then don't care. I also suggest if your are insured by Penn National you cancel.

- Perhaps you should not just threaten legal action, perhaps you should pursue it. If you just keep saying you are going to take action against them but never do they will think you are bluffing and will treat you accordingly.
