I bought a "store" a year ago. I knew I would most likely not make a whole lot, but I figured I could buy wholesale from myself and at 50.00 a year, not really all that different from belonging to a wholesale club such as Sam's. I did try to sell a few things on ebay and as stated by others, the fees ate up my profits. A few times I was paid by a buyer and when I tried to order the item it was "no longer available".

What really has me steamed now is I bought two PSP gaming systems for the "wholesale" price of 239.99 (and before anyone rebuts, I KNOW I can most likely get if for that in a brick and morter store, however they are not always available and I needed TWO - plus most other reputible online stores would only send one - such as Amazon and Best Buy, even Walmart on line would only do one). So anyway, as there is only a 30 day return policy and these are xmas gifts, before wrapping I opened them up. They certainly looked factory packed, however once you got past the cellophane it was clear the boxes had been opened and resealed. One had all of the attachments in cellophane, but the unit was dinged and the face scratched. The other was also scratched and the attachments were loose. Clearly NOT a new item. I had also bought a CD player (portable) and looked over that, again it was sealed and I did not open the package but on close inspection was scratched up and there were FOOD particles under the plastic. Obviously not packed in a very clean environment.

I have to get an RMA# to send this back at MY expense. Not acceptible. I want a full refund and to send back at their expense. What do you suppose my chances of THAT are?

I am so glad I did not sell their crap on ebay as they push you to do. It would be MY reputation, not theirs, that would take the hit.

I am PO'd enough to go the legal route if need be. These items were advertised BRAND NEW and while they do sell refurbished that is usually clearly marked.

This isn't a rebuttal, but an update. I did finally get through to someone and was issued an RMA to return the PSP players and CD player that were sold as "NEW" but were actually not. I was told they would reimburse me for the CD player and send me new PSPs. I tracked the shipment, was aware when they received it, but had no confirmation that they had reshipped. I contacted them every day for a week, finally bought two locally and emailed them insisting on a refund, not replacements. After I told them I wanted a refund, I get notice they had shipped. Of course, they won't be here in time for Christmas and I will have to send them back at my expense and whose to know if I will ever get reimbursed. Out over 600.00 at this point. I am going to try my luck with MC for reimbursement, but I do not have much hope. This company is one big Cluster F---!
