I responded the Craigslist job posting Accounting Clerk/Finance
this was the email sent to me:
Dear Applicant, Your Resume has been reviewed on *****slist and it has been forwarded to the Head of Operation of ( Global Finance). ( Ms Linda Funds).Would like to conduct an online interview with you 9 a.m Tomorrow, to discuss more about the Job Position of an Accounting Clerk/Finance Jobs Position? that are yet to occupy..Set Up a Screen name with the yahoo Instant Messenger online at (www.messenger.yahoo.com) and add up her Yahoo Instant Messenger ID: [email protected] to your buddy list.Her Screen Name with Yahoo Instant Messenger is ([email protected] ) add her up to commence your Briefings and Interview she will be online waiting for you. Best Regards Ms. Carla Reyes Global Finance.
I should have caught the red flags in this email, but like everyone else I wanted it to be true, but it isn't, to make a long story short. I "interviewed" on Yahoo IM with this lady and there were too many red flags, She stumbled so many times it wasn't funny! She said I needed to send $455 for some software. So I told her I need 24 hrs to think about it and did some research to find this is a scam and I am so thankful to Ripoff Report. I told her I wasn't sending nobody a d**n dime! I emailed her and declined the position.
