Global Financial rip-off Atlanta Georgia
I cannot believe that this has happened to me. I like many others was excited to think that I could get a new credit card and the promises made to me were the same as the others, $2500 credit line, 0% interest, etc. so naturally, I was blinded by the thought of having needed money. Unfortunately it turned out to be too good to be true.
The company debited my account $221.95 on Jan. 31, promised me a packet that never came. I have called their number repeatedly, only to hear either a budy signal or "all our operators are busy, please hold and your call will be answered momentarily." and after holding for over 20 minutes, no one ever answered.
I have contacted my bank and I am filing a claim against it. They said I will need to close my account to prevent any other transactions from Global financial.
I feel so violated and stupid, but I am thankful to see that I am not the only one who fell for it. I think it is ver sad that people will take advantage of others when the economy is so bad and people are already suffering. I was pleased to read that some of the telemarketers do have a conscience.
I am interested in a class action lawsuit if one is filed.
