We hired Global Ocean to do a move in December of 2007, we finally received our belongings in July of 2008 after threatening a lawsuit. We got caught in a dispute between the agents in the UK and G.O.F, with our belongings held hostage until G.O.F. paid what they owed. G.O.F. use the payments from new customers to pay off what they owe to the agents for previous customers.
It took many, many hours of calling, the usual non returning of calls, being transferred to different representatives, etc.
The owner Eti Cohen can never be reached, she's always out of the country travelling. Pay your bills Ms. Cohen instead of squandering the money that is supposed to pay for your customers belonings to be delivered. Your actions cause great heartache to families who were led to believe in your company's false claims of repute.
Shame on you.
Thinking of using GOF, do the research, contact the BBB, the Federal Maritime Comission, the complaints are endless against this company.

Hello.
I used to work for GOF last year. I apologize that you had to endure her crap. I hated the woman. Let me tell you about her...
1. She stood 5'1 and weighed about 80lbs soaking wet.
2. She never wore the same DESIGNER clothes twice-I wish I could raid her trash for that reason.
3. She is racist.
4. She lies...all the time...to everyone.
5. Treated her employees like crap, unless you were Jewish/Israeli.
6. She goes by the name "Jane" (of course when she decides she's out of the country)
7. She has the NASTIEST mouth on her. She even referred to me as "you f****** Gentile.
8. She has 2 beautiful cars...a Mercedes and a Jaguar. She paid for it with customers refunds.
9. She lives in Plantation, FL
10. She would get served roughly 3 times a week. "Jane" would always sign the release form.
I quit because I didn't want to be dishonest to customers...I do have a soul. It's funny because anytime Eti's Rabbi would show up...she wouldn't curse or anything!! Stupid hypocrit. I so wanted to send her a 15lb ham for Christmas. I actually found out recently that she is STILL scamming people! Since she lost her license, she runs her sketchy business out of her home under her husbands name.
