Possible sfc sfdirect ripoff repeated unauthorized charges to credit card consumer .....

I see that I am one of many with this problem.

I discovered the charges last month. They had been reaccurring for 3 months. I called the number on the statement and actually reached a nice girl named Camille who nicely "set me up" for a refund of all the charges, $204.95. She said it would take maybe 1-2 billing cycles to see the credit. I was annoyed but thought the problem was solved. WRONG.

This month instead of a credit, I have another $49.95 but this time from a SFC-SFDIRECT 68 in Montreal, QC with no phone #. As I understand it, I had 30 days to call my credit card company. That time has pasted. The "nice" girl bought the company another month to get more money from my credit card. This has just begun for me. If I find any info out, I will communicate.

Change your cc number right away. This company knows what they're doing, and will probably do it for as long as they can. Also if they are in Canada you may only be able to contact the BBB in Canada. The US doesn't have juristiction over anywhere, but the US. You may want to check and see if we have an embassey in Canada, which may offer little or possibly no help, but hey it's worth a shot. Make sure you (in writting) dispute these charges with your cc company. The law only gives you 30 days to do so, so you may not be able to get a refund for the charges that are more than 30 days old. Good luck.
