Golden Gate Capital is a very large private equity firm that
invests in and takes control of large public and private companies. They have a
history of what many allege, defrauding and stealing from the same companies
that they profess to help. While there are many private equity companies that
are legitimate, many like Golden Gate Capital are often called shysters and
thieves. This is part and parcel of why America has
been in many ways trashed, the landscape is littered with old bones of once
good companies who became involved with con-artists similar to Golden Gate
Capital who strip the balance sheet and decimate the owners, employees,
families and communities. As just one example, Golden Gate Capital is being
sued for fraud by Orchard Brands because they stripped the company of over
300,000,000, thats a third of a Billion Dollars and then drove it into
bankruptcy.
We are a Mergers & Acquisition firm in the business of
in some cases recommending these firms to prospective acquisition candidates.
While we take great care in doing due diligence, sometimes even we are duped.
Golden Gate Capital has refused to pay our fee with regard to the California
Pizza Kitchen transaction and this involves several thousands of dollars.
What is shameful is that many of the partners including
David Dominik, Josh Cohen and others are schooled at the finest Universities
including Harvard, Stanford and Columbia, only
to take what theyve learned and what many allege is actually steal from the United States of America. They are given hundreds of millions of dollars by these and other institutions,
only to turn around and use it for ill-gotten gains. We have discovered that
the US Government often may be complicit in unknowingly fostering these
activities and the SEC, FBI and even the CIA are increasingly powerless against
them
