Googlemoneytree promised a work at home kit for $3.88 then planted their money tree in my account ,now robbing my fruit. Las Vegas Nevada *NOTICE..!! this ripoff has nothing to do with Google search engine - many rip-off businesses use the Google name to fool consumers
I saw their add and thought it was legit because it had the google name on it.I sent for the kit which was $3.88 ,the add stated we could try it for 7 days, or cancel in that time, but I did not receive the kit until six days later,and noticed they had charged my capital one credit card $72.21 .
This made me very angry, so i treid to cancel on line, but they would not send me an e-mail to confirm it. So i tried to call them but the number i tried did not work.
I decided to call capital one to tell them i want to dispute the $72.21 on my account,they sent me a form to fill out , i sent it back along with the un-opened cd that googlemoneytree sent me.This all started around 11/17/08 they charged my credit $72.21 ,11/24/08 .I disputed that charge, then they charged my credit card again $72.21 ,on 12/23/08, and i disputed that charge too.
I called capital one again about this problem, they want some sort of proof that i tried to cancel.I told them i don't know how i can prove any thing because they would'nt send me a confirmation of my cancelation to my e-mail, nor would they answer the phone.
I thought that capital one would be a little more help then they were,but they kept wanting me to come up with some kind of proof that i tried to cancel my relationship with googlemoneytree,So i decided to search the web to see if anyone else was having the same problem as i was. I typed in googlemoneytree rip off and you're rip off report came up on the screen, with all these people having the same problems as me.
Now i think this should be enough proof right here ,that googlemoneytree is a scam and is ripping people off. I just wish that some how capital one could see this because i think this is all they proof they need that i tried to stop this scam of a company from stealing my money,
I want to take this moment to thank you so very much for letting me vent my frustrations here , it really did me alot of gooooooood, I truly apreciate it,
