Grant Wilfley Casting Disrespect, lied New York, NY New York
Grant Wilfley casting is the most irresponsible casting company I have ever came across. Basically, they cast background workers, or extras. If you email them when you are interested in background work on film, they usually don’t respond! However, once I got a long response saying they would like to feature me and they asked me when I was available. I responded and emailed them various times because they weren’t responding. Then, the day that I was supposed to be a background actor according to their information, they never responded back. They basically told me they wanted to feature me, but then ignored me! They lied! They could at least send emails to people saying if they were selected or not because they disrespect people by just leaving them hanging. Another thing that bothers me is their specific selection for background work.
They only pick certain people with professional headshots and experience, but for BACKGROUND work. Anyone can be an EXTRA. They are human props. There are people who want some on camera experience to get their careers started. Background work is an experience anyone should be able to have because it requires no talent and the actors don’t have to even be actors. Grant Wilfley casting fails to give people chances, yet that’s what they advertise for their company. This is why their selection process doesn’t make sense. They even tell you that you don’t have to send professional pictures in the emails and they say that they live giving people opportunities, yet they do the opposite. I’m very disappointed with Grant Wilfley casting and I have seen similar complaints like mine. Grant Wilfley casting is irresponsible and disrespectful.
