 I bought an Amazon Local deal for Duct Cleaning for my new home this past October 2014 for Green Air Care out of Chicago, Illinois.  The deal was $39 for whole-house duct cleaning.  I called to schedule an appointment and the soonest day was a month out (November 9 was the appointment and I had to take a 1/2 day off of work to make this "first available" appointment).  I have bad allergies so I was very disappointed that I had to wait a month for some relief!

An hour before my appointment, Green Air Care calls and says my appointment needs to be rescheduled because no one was "available in my area to perform the service".  I explained that I took time off work for this appointment and expected them to be there.  I was offered an upgraded service (furnace cleaning and inspection) for the inconvenience and rescheduled for the "next available date" which was two weeks from my original appointment on November 14.. to November 29 (a Saturday.. there was no way I could miss more time off work for a company that does not honor it's appointments!).

Saturday November 29 rolls around and my appointment is a 9:00 a.m. I get a call at 8:30 cancelling again!! The operator states that someone called in sick and we'd have to reschedule.  Absolutely not.  It's been 2 months and I've been lied to twice.  I told the operator I would not be rescheduling so that my appointment would be cancelled a third time.  Ridiculous.  She offered me nothing but a refund of the $39 I paid for the Amazon Local deal. Green Air Care marked the voucher as "Redeemed" online and has failed to send me my refund 11 days later.

I am appalled by this company and it's lack of apology.  I will never do business with the company and wish I would have done my homework before buying their deal as they get horrible reviews online.  Live and learn I suppose.  They'll get what's coming to them, I'm sure.
