I filed a report against GunBroker too because they made a very poor decision to End my Listing along with, I'm sure, hundreds of others of their trusting members.
My listing was an ongoing auction with a High Bid of several hundred dollars.
The reason for GunBroker stealing all that money from their customers was admittedly because they feared the media attention and the backlash from anti-firearms groups, etc for allowing sales of a particular style of rifle stock that was the same kind used in a recent shooting crime.
I guess GunBroker's fear was they might lose money or their website, BUT GUESS WHAT? Their website and livelyhood is in great jeapordy now because there is no doubt, hundreds or more of their once trusting customers/ members HAVE LEFT their site or WILL LEAVE GunBroker and go to another Gun Sales website.
I did... so, GOODBYE GUNBROKER and you OWE me hundreds of dollars.

Yes indeed .. The system on there stinks.. I just got took for 1200 bucks..on a pos from a DEALER that claimed he was selling it for someone else..and it was sold as is...and tough stuff.... The piece was modified...had epoxy holding a rear sight on..and the ram-rod was a junk pos....not a real one at all...
The folks who run GUN BROKER should NOT allow a piece to be sold with out a return policy... I see a lot of stuff there with NO RETURNS...sold as is...and that stuff.
You know who you are.. I have had many problems with these people.. They are meatheads..and do not care about the buyer...only the seller -- cause the seller has to pay him...GUN BROKER...
Excuse me.. You are either a crook -- or you are not ?? I paid 1200 bucks ..and got a 50 dollar piece of dung.... In short -- I agree..GUN BROKER SUPPORTS crooks..!!! Short and sweet........

It simply amazes me that people can't seem to find a companies business info. It took me all of about 30 seconds to find Gunbrokers business contact info. Here it is below. Maybe I should start charging $1 every time I helped someone do this.

I am a 10 year veteran of internet sales. 90% of my business comes from the internet. Sales are generated from my own customer base as well as various auction sites. I maintain a 100% positive rating with Ebay with thousands of transactions under my belt. I also make most of my large purchases on the internet. Not one time have I ever been defrauded. I have however found some NUTCASES out there! They wouldn'f be happy if you gave them the key to the world! I find GUNBROKER to be a breath of fresh air compared to all the other sites. It's fair, easy to navigate and there aren't ten million constantly changing rules. GUNBROKER is nothing more than a venue to bring buyers and sellers together. PERIOD! The world is full of crooks, frauds, and people who can't describe an item! DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you buy from anyone.....and don't expect a listing service to be responsible for your decision to list OR purchase.

I just discovered that they removed the feedback that I left for the guy that's been giving me such a hard time! Real nice!!! I wrote them and told them that if this is the way it's going to be I'm done! They boast that everyone has the right to voice their opinion as long as it's not hateful or vulgar. This guy has been a royal pain in my a*s and I get a slap???? I'll go somewhere else.

I've been buying and selling a great deal on GunBroker. I've been lucky. I was very nearly ripped off twice with no assistance at all from them. My most recent issue is over an idiot who just won't leave me alone. He's left me my first negative feedback and all over a simple mistake on my part. I apologized and didn't even take his money. But he won't let it go. I've asked support for help but they just say he's allowed to leave feedback. Right! I already know that! But it should be truthful and not Libelous! Duh! If this is the way they're going to be then they're no better than EBay! I'll go somewhere else!

But you have to remember buyer-Be-ware on any thingthere are phone numbers of the seller and the buyer. Gunbroker cant hold ever ones hand on these type of sales. Just think before you buy!

This company was created for the sole purpose of promoting and supporting the sales side of the transaction. If there is a problem with a seller in a transaction then forget trying to get GB.com customer service assistance...DOES NOT EXIST! Customer service for Buyers is simply is a Self Help FAQ kiosk. A failed transaction does not even allow the Buyer to post NEGATIVE feedback for seller. Ever wonder how EVERY Seller on this site maintains an A++ rating. They must be great!! Only an idiot or a Bernard Madoff prospective client (same difference) would buy product via GunBroker.com.

I wonder what the feedback ratings were for the outfits you purchased from on the Gunbroker site? I've concluded probably near to a hundred purchases on their website and have had a 100% positive experience with dozens of dealers and individuals. However, I study closely the feedback ratings and comments and have never had the nerve to "go first" with low transaction records, or negative scores and comments. (something I learned in the early days of Ebay usage to be truthful) I wish Paypal would let you use their services for Gunbroker, AuctionArms, and GunsAmerica purchases as they have been the only online helpers I've ever had stand by me in the case of backing me up with issues over a purchase. I've seen adds for a new service similar to paypals but specifically for gun related transactions, hopefully it will take hold and more dealers will register and start allowing you to pay through them. I was also under the impression that Gunbrokers offers an "escrow" service that I bet many of their sellers would agree to if you were willing to pay the escrow fes for them. Anyway, I am sorry to hear your tale of woe, it will certainly keep me alert and checking the ratings and comments on the feedback of anyone on their sites I'm considering purchasing from. Thanks for the heads up and the reminder that regardless of representations wherever they may be from, it usually boils down to "buyer beware" doesnt it?

I was ripped off by Val Taylor @ Taylor Shooting Supply (TaylorShootingSupply) of Junction City Kansas 66441. When I reported it to GunBroker...(which was not an easy task since they make it very difficult to contact them. No phone, address, or direct contact info) They waited over 30 days to respond then wrote that the time frame to act had expired. I was defrauded by Val @ Taylor Shooting Supply in the amount of 555.00. He listed a Winchester rifle as MINT, UNFIRED, PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL, COLLECTORS GRADE! When it was actually in very poor rusted and corroded condition. Copy and paste the following to see the pictures I posted in his feedback and at MSN CorrodedwinchesterfromTaylorShootingSupply.(msnusers.com/CorrodedWinchesterfromTaylorShootingSupply) I was very disappointed with the LACK of concern and help from GunBroker. There site is wonderful, but they give you a false sence of security by advertising that they have fraud insurance. If you have a fraud issue, (assuming they will even respond to your email) you will receive NO HELP from GunBroker.

Gunbroker helped there seller RAVENSGUN66 defraud me of over $300.00!! Item was paid for and never received. Gunbroker has no contact info, no phone or address, only email communication which they answer at there leisure. They refused to contact the seller and provide shipping information, they just stated that the seller told them it was shipped. To date, 6 weeks later and I have no product or refund! The seller RAVENSGUN66 refuses to answer my emails and Gunbroker refuses to do anything about it, they also do not answer my emails anymore. They even suspended my account so I cannot leave negative feedback on the seller. The buyer seems to have no recourse on Gunbroker if they get stiffed..and Gunbroker cares more about there sellers than there buyers. Gunbroker claims to have security in place, but that is a lie! The truth is they could care less about the buyer or else they would have assisted me in getting either my money or product. Buyers beware if you buy on Gunbroker.com!! If you get stiffed, chances are you are on your own..I now shop at Auctionarms.com, they have a phone number and are glad to take your calls and respond to any issues you may have..This is not the first problem I have had with Gunbroker, but it will be the last.. PS: They now have a scam going where if you signup for a new account with almost any email account they require a credit card and they charge you a dollar! You never get that money back unless you sell with them and they keep your credit card information!! I wonder how may people signup to that a day???
