On Saturday October 05, 2002 I completed my MBA. Two weeks later I contacted Haldane and Associates after reviewing their impressive ad placed in the Sun-Sentinel Newspaper. I e-mailed my resume via the Internet. One week later a polite secretary called to confirmed that my most recent annual income was over $50,000. I confirmed the information (wondering why confirmation was needed.) She scheduled an appointment for me with Vice President Mel Dubin (I was impressed).

I arrived for my appointment Thursday October 25,2002 at 10:45 a.m. I was instructed to complete an elongated form which had more interest in my financial status than anything else. I again pondered the reason why was there so much interest in my financial state, but not for one moment did I doubt the honesty of the company.

VP. Mel Dubin came out of his marble corner office and retrived my application from the secretary and five minutes later invited me in to his den. He spent the first ten minutes complimenting my apparel, indicating how profesionally I appeared. He was a $100.00 Wal-Mart suit.

We spent the next 30 minutes discussing the credentials of Haldane and company. Mel then preceded to inform me that I was basicly unprepared, placed a large X on my resume, showing me a perfectly (Haldane) prepared resume. He aske me to describe my weaknesses, my fears, my lack of confidence, and every other adjective seeking to make me feel worthless (he had hypnotized me for a brief moment) and his companny was the answer. I believed all the BS for a brief moment.

Mel pressed for additinal information about my liquidity. I indicated that I had $50,000 cash for immdiate access. His eyes lit up like headlights on an automobile. Mel then presses for the kill. He insisted that I must bring my wife for a 2nd interview. It was at this point that I awaken from the trance that I was in.

I reluctantly scheudled and appointment for November 1, 2002. Mel sinced that I smelled the SCAM and ushered me out of his office after three hours. Mel was so successful that he did not have access to a business card or a calendar, he had gave me a generic card with blank lines in which he hand wrote his informtion!

This entire situation is reminded me of reserach that I have done on religious CULTS. Nevertheless I arrived home and decided to put my skills (MBA) to use. I typed in Haldane Fees into Google and this site appeared first (Rip-off by BHA).

I am eternally grateful, I can vouch for the accuracy of the many reports that I have read on this site. STAY AWAY from Haldane Associates unless you have money to give away for NOTHING.

Saved from the SHARkS (HALDANE associates) in FT. LAuderdale, Florida.

Then you could have had the fun of watching those headlight-like eyes fizzle! Having already identified Haldane as rip-off artists, you might just as well had some fun with them!!! Life is short!

I wish I knew about ripoffreport.com earlier. I was not ripped off (thankfully) but I visited this very office while unemployed and am amazed by this entry. It's IDENTICAL to what they did to me! After knowing everything about my financial state, they suggested I put their $5,000.00 fee on a credit card! They even suggest my girlfriend (who I am now broken up with) come to the second meeting. Even she had the good sense to see there was no way this place was worth over $1000.00. If they were so good, they'd have better jobs or be working for legit headhunters, rather than hustling desperate scared people.
