Harvard Professional Group - Don't Waste Your Time "UN Professional Recruiters Metro Park New Jersey
I visited the Harvard Professional Group on three different occasions during a 3 week period in January. I had recently lost my job and they contacted me because they had received my resume through a web service. I drove 45 minutes each way, filled out page up page of "professional development" B.S. and waited over an hour each time to be seen by their "Experts" with no apology for the delays.
These meetings with their expert lasted an average of 20 minutes including numerous interruptions where he would "be right back". I was repeatedly told that he had several positions in mind for me that would bring me a 30% pay raise, etc. I was told how fortunate I was to be selected because they don't help everyone, blah blah blah.
I never once was given an interview with any company. After sitting through a mock interview with this idiot and realizing I would never hire this man, why would I accept career advice and take his word that he could deliver me my ideal job? Mind you, I had already been unemployed for over a month - the last thing I had the time and luxury to afford was one more visit to this place!
