I first heard of HB through my realtor. He was very upfront with me and I was very happy to find out that HB is a man of his word and will follow up on a job even after the work has been done. He has gone above and beyond by checking my AC unit for me and not charging me anything extra for the trouble (and I live out in the country area!). He is very thorough, gives advice and then waits for you to make your own decision.
I am a female and as we all know, men tend to take advantage of that, but he has not. He has quoted me fair prices and not changed them even when he very well could have (additional Freon charges). This may not seem like much, but I highly recommend him to anyone. He has done everything to ensure that he keeps me as a satisfied customer and not merely a ripped off customer. He is determined to make sure I have my air filters (thank you!), cleaned my yard around the AC area, wrapped hoses that I did not get charged for, and has given me other homeowner advice that has proven very useful.
Please do not go with one bad report, HB is a man of his word, he arrives early and doesn't leave until the job is done to the best of his ability (which is excellent).
His office phone number is 803-695-8888. It works.

This response is to bring clarity in regards to the disturbing claims that have been placed upon my business as well as myself. Back in December 2005 I was very new in the HVAC business industry. On my journey of beginning my business I was also in the Marine Corps Reserve. Shortly after accepting this job to provide service for this customer, I was called by the Marine Corps Reserve to be deployed to Iraq for three years. I immediately left to serve my duties for our country in December 2005 and did not return back to the country until March 2008.
Secondly, I would like to address the false allegations that have been placed upon me in the statement which claims that: I usually come late in the evening so I can say the part stores are closed. Then I request to get the money for the parts stating that its my company policy and never hear from me again. The reason that I only came in the evenings at that time is because I was working for another company while building mine and could not do work on the companys time that I was working for. My company policy does require a fifty percent deposit and the remaining balance after the job is complete which that is a pretty basic standard policy for many companies. Once again the reason they could not contact me is because I was immediately deployed.
My business practice is absolutely under no circumstances to rip people off and my business is in very well standing today. And as far as that client claiming to talk to several people in the community that have had the same negative experience is not at all accurate in any way because my clientele was extremely small since I was just at the very start of launching my HVAC business.
I am appalled to find this report on the internet several years later. I would like to clear up any unresolved issues and I can be contacted at 803-695-8888. My office location is 7356 Garners Ferry Road, Suite 129, Columbia, SC 29209.
