Heidrick Automotive, Heidrich Foreign & Domestic Car And Truck Repair Didn't fix my car, didn't completely put the car back together! Cataula Georgia
My Landrover Discovery had a slight ticking sound, Heidrich Automotive advised that the lifters needed replacing. Trusting that he knew more than me, we went ahead with getting that taken car of. Since getting my car back, the car sounds horrible, worse than ever, and drives terrible. To the point where we were concerned to drive it. I took it to another mechanic to have it looked at and right off the bat he said "your lifters need to be replaced". WHAT?!
I then took my car to a reputable mechanic in Louisiana while visiting my parents. He is a certified instructor for BMW. He said this was the worse mechanic job he had ever seen. Heidrich had not even put the car together correctly, bolts were missing, clamps were on hoses that werent supposed to be clamped and not on hoses that were supposed to be clamped. Also, he said in all his years experience he has probably diagnosed a car to have the lifters replaced once.
There is a better and less invasive fix and he said any decent mechanic would know that. He said this guy was dangerous. It looked like he had no idea how to fix our car so he just played a guessing game and in the end charged us $1500.00. So, $1500.00 later my car is ticking louder than ever, not running as good as it was before he touched it.
Beware of this "mechanic". Trusting him with your vehicle will cost you.
