I personally went in to try and purchase a washer and dryer. After telling me they would be able to have the pair delivered to me the next day, I filled out a finance form to purchase the product. They then informed me that they do not know when they would be able to deliver the products. No estimate whatsoever. They then completed a credit card in my name WITHOUT my permission. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and filled fraud on my credit. I cannot believe that they would do this. They wouldn't even give me my personal information back. I suggest no one go to this store! They have caused me such a hassle...?

And by the way a credit card is a type of financing.  Just thought I might have to educate you on that since you said they are two different things when in fact they are not.  Now if you said a loan and a credit card are two different things you would be correct.  However, both a loan and a credit card are ways to finance any purchase.  Usually you see loans for larger purchases and credit cards for smaller, but that is not always the case.  Now I know I'm not the smartest person in the world but wow guy... That is just common sense for the most part.  Once again prooving that your company employee's do not know what they are talking about.

This is exactly why I am trying to charge your store with credit fraud and there is a current investigation, because if what you say is true the sales associate did none of those things.  He told me he could have the washer and dryer delivered immediately(which was a lie) He looked at my drivers license, nothing else.  I filled out the form...  I did NOT sign it because I still had questions.  He went over to a computer.  Then the manager came back and told me I have been approved but the washer and dryer could only believed at an unknown time in the future.  I am BAD mouthing your company because you LIE, STEAL, AND HARASS.  If what you say is actually your regulations the sales associate did not live up to any of them and should be fired but when I talked to the manager he could do nothing.  So I filed a complaint with the BBB and when they refused to compensate me or even take 5 minutes to confirm my complaint (your company managers), therefore I filed a complaint at the police station.  So before you call your customers LIARS get your facts straight guy.  You are a horrible representative of your store and I would stop making your company look worse by confirming what they did is illegal.

Well I do apologize for assuming earlier, only assumed due to seeing customers come in with the credit card cut up in their hands, because they did not understand that is the financing. I am confused, you stated earlier that you filled out a finance form for payment, there is no such thing, only a credit application. Your story does not add up. I am not even going to ask how in the hell the sales associate got two forms of ID, your social, got a manager to sign off, and you watched them put it into the computer? What lie did the associate tell you to get your social? Because believe me if the information does not add up we have to call G.E. Money for approval and they will speak to you in person.

The sales associate lied to me in order to get my financial information.  Then entered it into the computer...  I had not even signed the form hince why I filed credit fraud and am still in the middle of an official investigation.  They stole my credit information and I would love to see the signature on that form because I know it's not mine.  Still waiting on the great columbia police department though.  I just wanted to warn any body to avoid HHgregg as LOWES has all the same applainces anyway... Only $5-$10 more...  But lowes offers a 10% discount to military so I actually saved $200 by going to lowes.  If it wasn't for my credit being damaged by these malpractices I would actually thank them.

A Missunderstanding

Sounds like you may have gotten accidentally screwed by a sales associate that failed to check stock or delivery zones. As far as the credit card is concerned, that is what that finance form is all about, it is a credit application. We legally cannot give you back your personal info, it goes into a locked safe, then which the paper copy of the app (which has been in the locked safe) is sent off to G.E. Money for their records. All of this is clearly stated on the Application which you signed and thus agreed to the terms thereof.
