I too like the others recieved a check for $2,985.00. My check is #6305. My ticket number is also 5644581 and serial number is also 65489. I too tried to call the company, but of course it is Sun and they are not open. I don't understand the purpose to this scam. I am wondering if it doesn't have something to do with our phone numbers, or our phone bills. I figured since I couldn't contact them I would do a search on the net, and them maybe tomorrow contact my bank about it. I still might contact my bank tomorrow even though I have found out it is really to good to be true. Maybe they will have some idea's on how to get back at these rip off artists.

You stated that "I don't understand the purpose to this scam"! The only purpose is to get greedy Americans to deposit the check, send the scammers the money, and then in a week or so to have you holding the bag! You'll get a call from YOUR bank telling you they want their money back because the check was returned. the scammers will be laughing all the way to the bank because they hooked another sucker!

I called the number today and talked to the woman. She told me to put the check in my bank so that they could verify I was the correct person. I told her I knew for a fact this was fraud and that I was turning them in for fraud and she said "ok" and hung up on me. Then later when I tried to call back she wouldn't answer the phone. How much you want to bet they have caller ID and just needed a little more information to get my bank information to drain me more than I have drained myself. Little do they know I don't have any money! I did notify my bank and also the police on this. Wish I would have thought about telling her I didn't have a bank account and see what she would have told me to do then. Was also told today that because they are in Canada there is probably nothing that can be done to them if they are caught. Sure hope that person is wrong.
