We bought a siamese/ragdoll kitten from Cara Bergstrom. The place is disgusting. There are animals everywhere, outside and inside, and Cara was smoking indoors next to the kittens when we arrived. The kitten became ill only 3 days after we brought her home. The vet said the kitten was way younger than Cara claimed.

The information written on the animals' paperwork is fake. She maked it up to sell the kitten younger and quicker. The kitten could not have been older than 4 weeks when she sold it. The kitten spent 3 days hospitalized at the vet and died there. The children of our family were absolutely heartbroken.

Do not trust this breeder. She claimed she would give you a refund if the animal gets sick, but said she would only give us another kitten from the same inbred litter. She does not care about animals. She only cares about money.

No reputable breeder would let a kitten or puppy leave his mother before 12 weeks. This kitten was 1/3 that age and sick.

I must say that I am very upset on Cara Bergstrom and Hillview's behalf. We adopted two kittens from her and her cattery. Both kittens are healthy and happy, and most of all not inbred. She was very informed and helpful reguarding the care of our kittens. We are actually thinking about adopting a puppy next. She exsplained as well as showed us that the pups parents are DNA tested, microchipped and she had copies of their pedagree's. Again no inbreeding. I am an informed pet owner and I never would have purchased an pet from her if any of those woman's comments were true. I actually asked Cara about the report and she showed me a vet bill of this womans that shows that she had the kitten put to sleep. And she was very upset about the whole ordeal. The kennels and the area where the animals were kept was very clean. Cara also rescues homeless animals and cares for them until she can find them a good home. People that have no clue how to care for an animal should not own one.

First and foremost our cattery and kennel are clean and all of our animals are healthy. I also offer rescue rehoming many homeless animals. I have no control of how our animals are treated once they leave our home. We do offer a health guarantee on all of our pets, And the kitten was over 8 weeks old when she left our home. If the kitten was not eating she should have been taken to the vet immediately instead of waiting. And as far as smoking with the door open I may add around the kitten, I was not aware of this being against the law. My animals are not inbred. I understand losing a pet is very heartbreaking and I have tried to work with this woman to resolve this issue. But she seems more interested in tryin to meline my good reputation. I have customer reviews and comments on my website for those of you who would like to check it out www.Hillviewlabradors.com The whole issue saddens me. I try to field our potential owners but obviously I misjudged this woman terribly.
