Unfortunately, if you did not purchase the HSN protection plus plan, at the time of purchasing the camera, that leaves the issue between you and Kodak. HSN offers a 1-2 year protection plan on electronic purchases. If a customer chooses not to accept this additional protection, all fault falls upon the manufacturer. Sorry about the situation, but keep on kodak until you get the problem resolved.
