CHARLOTTE,#2Consumer Suggestion
Tue, March 08, 2005
I've often wondered how many of the offending companies know they're being reported to RipOffReport.com. It's one thing for us to complain to each other and even offer solace, but wouldn't we be much more powerful - and receive better results - if we let THEM know we're reporting and reading? Several times I have sent "Shame on you!" type of emails after reading about folks being swindled here, and wondered if anyone else did. Most companies have an email address and we should use it. ALL of us. I don't suggest we call and disturb or interrupt business, but if you swindled someone wouldn't you be more prone to make it right if you came in to a FULL email box of complaints from all over the country?! One more *important* thing. I don't know the owner of this site. Have never met him or spoken to him. But he created a priceless venue for all of us to complain and even at times, force companies to make things right. We're all relieved when it's over or else we have a mad spell and then get on with life -- until the next time it occurs -- and we come back. THIS IS A CHALLENGE to everyone to send whatever you can to RipOffReport.com in the way of a donation to fend off lawsuits by these offenders and threats of lawsuits. Put a dollar in an envelope, put ten dollars, send a check, whatever -- this site is probably the ONLY place you can be sure your money will be put to the use intended. By all means, let's keep it alive and well !

I can't believe it, I recieved a letter from Homecomings today. I guess they actually read these ripoff reports. There records do not indicate that they have previously addressed my concerns. You mean to tell me that when they put me on a repay program that required me to pay them more money than the amount I had a hard time paying in the first place wasn't a concern? or there was no concern on my part when my home was put up for auction, or when I had to pay so called "attorneys fees". $12,000.00 worth. Rosemary Love AKA Executive correspondent, you dont hold my mortgage anymore, so tell me, why are you so concerned now? Unless you are going to give me and everyone else back the money you dishonestly swindled, we have nothing to discuss. I put my story out there so others would know that they are not alone. All the bad publicity you are recieving is will deserved. Ms Love, I hope someday you are on the recieving end of deciet, than maybe then you could understand what it is like to have your family, credit, and livlihood jeapardized by such cruel unnessasary means.
