Homecomings Financial ripoff warning signs, I feel like no matter what I do I will lose my house as well as my unposted payments. Dallas Texas
I have had growing problems with Homecomings Financial ever since they purchased my mortgage about a year ago. Slowly many things have accumulated like extra fees (i.e. "property inspection fees" that I am charged for twice a month, but when I inquire about this fee I am told that it is a mistake, yet it continues to happen). I made a payment to them that still has not posted without explanation, and so on.
Today I received a foreclosure notice in the mail. I was confident that I could clear this matter up easily, that is until I started reading all the complaints on this site. Now I feel like no matter what I do I will lose my house as well as my unposted payments. By the time I pay an attorney and go to court I will be deeper in debt.
My records show that I am one month behind on my mortgage with my one payment in dispute. Yet I got a foreclosure notice!

Refinance through someone else. Don't let those bastards win!! Do what you have to, even if you have to send them a bank certified check every month, in certified mail. Do what you can. They want the equity in your house. More money in their pockets. Find out why they have to do an inspection of your house 2 times a month. Have them verify that they actually did it 2 times a month. Get everything in writing, never word of mouth. Tape them on the phone. Make their lives as pleasant as yours has been since they took over you loan. Keep us posted, and good luck to you.
