My parents home has been put up for foreclosure sale in less than a month. People keep coming by, wanting to buy the house. No one from Homecomings financial has bothered to contact them concerning this matter and my mother swears she has been sending her payments and they have been accepted. She has seen a judge concerning this and he said if they didn't get the paperwork cleared up by the sale date that he would hold the mortgage company in contempt of court.

Homecomings financial is a GMAC company. GMAC holds the other half of the split mortgage. It's almost like they are trying to be confusing. The case number indicates it's coming from JP morgan chase bank and I'm assuming that's a bigger lender of homecomings financial and GMAC. People are calling all day everyday of the week to buy or refinance the house.

It's a racket. They are probably all affiliates of the same companies. I believe they look for one loophole and try to screw people out of their houses so they can either refinance it for more money or take it and jack up the price because of the booming housing market around here. I believe in making money the old fashioned way and I'm not impressed by people who push paperwork to make money.

Even if they manage to screw my parents out of their house I will still push for a lawsuit because of the trouble they have caused from the promises and agreements they've made, the credit they have disrupted and the money they have accepted. I hear there is a class action lawsuit pending from a law firm in New York. I have contacted them for more information and this may do no good but just for good measure. I'm writing a letter to the governor.

What is the point of them passing laws to help people with property taxes when rip-off companies are screwing people out of their homes? That's not helping what helped the economy in the first place, an opportunistic housing market among other things.

This company needs to be disassembled and bought out if these people can't make a living the honest way. It's one thing to bring interests rates up a bit but to sit around and think of ways to drive them up by constantly refinancing and trying to make people move and sell. How can live with themselves?

It's crap lke this that gives capitalism a bad name. What work have they done? NO work, just lies and scams.

My mother is going to see the judge again but even if they clear up their paperwork like he judge ORDERED them to do. I am still looking into that class action law suit because of the stress they have caused.

I too agree with Melanie of Florida & Cynthia of Texas. The American dream has always been to own a home, this dream is fading fast by crooks like Homecomings Financial. They lie, sheat and steal form hard working people. My wife and myself have two very small children the oldest is 17 months with the youngest 3 months. We have broken our backsides to keep our end of the agreement that we have made with these gangsters and, they are doing every under handed trick that they know to forclose on our home. We turn on our television and watch the evening news to see victims of home invasion robberies just to find out that the biggest group of robbers are stationed with homecomings financial. The only difference is that I wished that they would at least use a weapon other than lies, that way I could defend my family the old fashioned way, by kicking the _ _ _ _ out of them. It's a shame that our government has no control or interest in how finance companies rip off the hard working families that built this great country. The only thing that they see is bottom line profit and, the questions that I have is simple. #1. How much money is enough, if you died today could you take it you with your greedy A _ _ ? #2. What type of impact do you think that these crooks and other companies like them will have on our economy and do you really even care?....Not is my guess, it's all about the dollar right? #3. How in the hell do people like you sleep at night knowing that our country have soldiers fighting everyday dodging mortar rounds while you A _ _ holes are trying all that you can to steal the very home that they are paying for with theier lives with to come back home and find out that they have been forclosed? #4. I have more but I must go now. last but not least. If by chance we loose our home to you bastards trickery and lies.. Is there anyone there that would be willing to come in contact with any one of the people whom you have raped over and over out of their homes? Because I'm very certain that you would definately have some fans whom would love to say hello and express alot of love to each and every one of you. Myself....I would like to really show mines.. Homecomings Financial....You will not win...WE may not have the high priced lawyers in which you sure as hell should be able to afford with the way you ripp off your customers, but the American people together can kick their A _ _ es too and I promise that I will use every bit of resource, research and, resolve that I have to get the word out on you. I will be your best advertisement ever. Homecomings Financial makes me ashamed to know that our country has reached a new record low in mortgage companies taking the american dream right along with it. Thank you for robbing us all blind Homecomings Financial.

I have already posted my story, and like your parents, have had my credit shot by these crooks. However I am biting back. I contacted the Texas Attorney Generals office and am in the process of filing a complaint. This is something I suggest everyone do both in their respective states and in the state of Texas. You have to remember that this company is home based in Texas, therefore Texas has a vested interest in illegal and immoral business practices of companies within the state. When I talked to the represenative of the TX attorney Generals office, and told them about this site and all the posts on it (I am providing them with a link to theis site) from all over the country, they were very interested. They also told me I should report it to the Federal Trade Commission, Housing and Urban development (HUD), and the Texas Mortgage Credit Agency. U am looking at not only contacting them but any federal entity that has anything to do with credit, and the local and national news media. I urge everyone to follow in my footsteps. Even if you are from out of state, complain to the Texas Attorney Generals Office. let them know that a busines within their jurisdiction is cheating and manipulating people out of their money and homes. Contact the news agencies. Tell them your story, and direct them here so that they can read others stories. Consumer advocates drool over things like this. Nothing is worse for a business then bad press. If we all stand up and make noise, we can not be ignored, but it will take everyone who has been cheated by Homecommings to make enough noise to stop these practices.
