I am a victim of HomEq Servicing. My loan reset in Jan 2008. I have been calling them every day and that fisrt say yes we will fast track you loan with a rate lock. They then say so to continue we will transfer you to the Collections dept. Then collections say no we dont modify loans or you loan is not taged for modifiaction or your investor is not perticipateing in the congressional rate lock program. They say you are paying so keep paying os sell your house. I found this article on the web and had to laugh.

WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--NeighborWorks(R) America is pleased to announce that HomEq

Servicing has joined other leading members of the financial, mortgage,

insurance and nonprofit sectors in a partnership to provide struggling

borrowers with alternatives to foreclosure.

This partnership recently launched a Foreclosure Prevention Advertising Campaign with the Ad Council. The campaign seeks to decrease foreclosures by directing borrowers to call a dedicated toll-free number, where they receive experienced, quality counseling and are connected, as appropriate, with their lender or local

NeighborWorks organization.

The campaign focuses on reaching the population of homeowners (currently estimated at above 50%) who do not contact their lender/servicer prior to foreclosure.

Both NeighborWorks(R) America and HomEq Servicing are confident that it is helpful to provide a comfortable environment in which borrowers are free to discuss their situation and explore options. These options can include tangible goals on which borrowers can focus to save their homes from foreclosure. As shared by Art Lyon, HomEq CEO, "We are very pleased to announce our support of NeighborWorks and look forward to a collaborative effort to provide distressed homeowners with additional resources and guidance to prevent avoidable

foreclosures."

More information about NeighborWorks(R) America and the NeighborWorks(R) Center for Foreclosure Solutions can be found at www.nw.org.

WHY DO YOU THINK YOU GET TO BE BAILED OUT OF YOUR INGNORANT CHOICE TO SIGN AN ADJUSTABLE RATE MORTGAGE? Yes our "President" signed a strict modification "Fast-track" legislation to place on accounts who "QUALIFY". On top of that which of the restrictions do you not meet? I know you are angry, but HomEq can not bail you out of your decision. We did not hold a gun to your head and make you sign the mortgage, we did not orginate the mortgage for your so WHY ARE YOU POINTING THE FINGER OF BLAME AT ANYBODY ELSE BUT YOURSELF!?!?!!? Did you enjoy the cash out, when your were spending it, or how about the Credit Cards you ran up and paid them off with your new loan, how did that feel? I feel for your ignorance, I really do, I have to hear your stories every single day, but PLEASE stop blaming everyone else for your mistake. We are tired of hearing it. Sorry for your loss, I'm sure soon you will buy another house and make a better decision that time. Thats life.

SERVICER... NOT LENDER!

Did you ever think it was your idiot lender that was preventing HomEq from modifying your loan? Maybe you should contact them and get upset with them about fraud, because all HomEq does is service your loans under the terms that you agreed to with the lender. If your lender won't let HomEq modify your loan then there is nothing they can do.

Jeff, that is the laugh of the week. This is to try and take the heat off themselves. Mortgage Servicing Fraud is rampant. It is the reason for many of the foreclosures that are being claimed in this country. The one thing that I found out is that you can not talk on the phone with them. You must get everything in writing. If you can not legally record the phone conversations you should stay off it. Check out msfraud.org. This site is dedicated to the whole Mortgage Servicing Fraud scam. The state of Ohio is dismissing many foreclosures as you will find out on this site. A few of the judges are starting to take notice. We still have a long way to go. Ohio is also suing several banks and mortgage servicers. Go Ohio!!! If we can just get more judges in more states to do the same we might be able to save our homes. Good Luck and check out the site.
