Homesafe America promised it's lawyer would legitate and obtain a loan modification for my home.  I was desperate and on the brink of foreclosure.  The cost was to be $1995.  I could not afford to pay it all at once, so made a schedule of payment.  After the first $500 was taken from my bank account before they received my paperwork, I became suspicious, and after numerous emails and phone calls-no response from this company. Today, 9/1/2010, another $1,000 was withdrawn from my account after in writing and email I decided I did not want their services and the BBB gave them an awful report. I received no legal services from this company, in fact when I spoke to Citimortgage on 8/31, they informed me no one from Homesafe America has ever contacted them! No services, I would like my money back!

To the Original Reporting person, please write up a report and send to a government watchdog agency suggested at the end of this comment. If enough people cry foul maybe the noxious business practices will be noticed by our government and then a class action suit is possible against offending banks and other big business scams? We have come to a time where what was once illegal, and through government lobbyists, now these usury practices have become legal throughout the country. The goal is to make all middle class people into a serf class. Here is the site:

Ive been in the banking industry for quite some time.  Seeing all the fraud that the banks do I changed my job now work for HomeSafe America.  I started by speaking to new clients and obviously they wanted to speak with existing clients that already got a modification.  The company has tons of already satisfied clients.  I have put 6 clients in for a mod and have already had 2 that received a resolution one with a principal balance reduction.  I must back this company when i see the success rate that they are getting done.  Then compare them to all the other scams
this is one client that i heard about a complaint, and the reason why, nothing happened is her phone number changed and when we can not get the necessary docs in to move forward with the mod, we are stuck in limbo
